Kids Kayak Summer Camp
Kayaking is a fun, active and educational way for your child to discover the wonders of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Our expert staff will spend the week teaching kayaking skills and ocean safety while they paddle along the protected Monterey shoreline. In addition, they will observe and learn about the sea otters, seals, sea lions, kelp forests, invertebrates and shorebirds. Kids should be good swimmers. Wetsuits, lifejackets and all gear included. For ages 8-14! The camp is held Mon-Thurs from 9:30-12:30.

Kids Kayak Play Camp
This afternoon session gives the kayak campers more casual time to work on all of the water skills they have developed. They will be able to paddle kayaks or stand up paddle boards, swim in the calm waters of Monterey Beach, or just play on the beach under the supervision of trained staff. Morning sessions are recommended but not required. Kids should be good swimmers. Wetsuits, lifejackets and all gear included. The camp is held following Kids Camp Mon-Thurs from 1:00-4:00.
Private Youth Group Tours - Monterey
Learn about marine sciences while kayaking! Whether learning about kelp beds, tidal wetlands, marine mammals, this program can be tailored to your group's ages, ability and interest. Younger kids will have fun with lots of hands-on activities, and older kids may enjoy learning more about rescues and kayaking skills. We will also paddle out to check out the sea otters, harbor seals, sea lions, shore birds and marine invertebrates.
